The Divine Nine will look at the nine historically black fraternities and sororities. Taylor Shuler and Omari Martin will be rectifying the inception charts and will share the history, process of rectifying and how the archetypes show up for the organizations with a focus on the organization. Since 1906 and 1908 respectively, Alpha Phi Alpha, the first intercollegiate fraternity established for African American men, and Alpha Kappa Alpha the first Greet-letter organization established by African American college-educated women, have provided service to all mankind as a purpose. This presentation looks at both Black Greek Organizations through the lens of astrology at key moments in each organization’s history. By moving the birth chart of each organization forward through time, Frater Omari Martin and Soror Taylor Schuler will ponder what opportunities the 21st Century brings for the organizations progress and the uplifting of humanity.
